Published in Remote Sensing, 2020
This paper presents the derivation of a closed-form Cramér-Rao bound for the estimation of the time-delay and Doppler frequency of a signal in presence of a single multipath.
Published in Remote Sensing, 2021
This paper makes use of the Cramér-Rao bound as a metric to assess the impact of signal crosstalk between two antennas of a GNSS-R receiver.
Published in IEEE Aerospace Conference, 2022
This paper presents an approach to assess multipath effect based on existing (multipath error envelop) and new (Cramér-Rao bound) metrics.
Published in ESA Workshop on Satellite Navigation Technologies and European Workshop on GNSS Signals and Signal Processing (NAVITEC), 2022
This paper presents different solutions to perform ground-based GNSS reflectometry using a single antenna collecting both the direct and the reflected paths.
Published in IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems, 2022
This paper proposes a multipath metric based on the ratio between two Cramér-Rao bounds for GNSS signal design and analysis.
Published in Colloque du Groupe de Recherche et d'Etudes de Traitement du Signal et des Images (GRETSI), 2022
This paper presents highlights the feasibility of close-to-ground GNSS reflectometry using recent wideband GNSS signals and dual source signal processing techniques.
Published in Signal Processing, 2023
This paper presents the derivation of a closed-form misspecified Cramér-Rao bound for low-cost GNSS receivers in presence of multipath.
Published in IEEE/ION Position Location and Navigation Symposium (PLANS), 2023
This paper presents misspecified Cramér-Rao bound for GNSS receivers in presence of DME interferences.
Published in Signal Processing, 2023
This paper presents a model for signals reflected from extended reflecting surfaces. This model is based on a discrete representation of the reflecting surface impulse response. Possible strategies to evaluate the size of the impulse response are also proposed.
Published in Signal Processing, 2023
In this paper an approximation of the dual source maximum likelihood criterion is proposed to tackle the untractable case when the sources are very closed in space.
Published in Navigation, 2023
In this paper, a closed form expression of the misspecified Cramér-Rao bound is derived for the case of a GNSS receiver with an unknown interference. This result is illustrated with simulations involving a GPS L1 C/A signal and a jammer using an LFM signal.
Published in IEEE International Workshop on Computational Advances in Multi-Sensor Adaptive Processing (CAMSAP), 2023
This paper presents a reflection signal model for close-to-ground GNSS-IR scenarios. This model allows to map reflection coefficients of the reflecting surface.
Published in 32nd European Signal Processing Conference (EUSIPCO), 2024
This paper presents an estimation method of the first two moments (mean power and mean frequency) of the Doppler spectrum of radar weather signals based on a signal model misspefication. The Misspecified Cramér-Rao bound is used to evaluate the performance of the proposed approach.
